$30/week – Day 2

Day 2 started out with a breakfast sandwich. I think I’m pretty good at making breakfast sandwiches and this was no exception. Chicken breast, havarti cheese, tomato slices between 2 slices of whole wheat and cook it on a George Forman for about 10mins. Very delicious and filling.  For lunch, we just had the left over chicken and broccoli with rice.

I hurried home because I was really hungry and as soon as I got home, I made some coffee. Coffee is a great appetite suppressant. I knew making dinner was going to take about 45 mins and  I was starving. Tina decided to make some tuna pasta today and I popped a couple of almonds while we were waiting. I help cut up some veggies and she made some salad to go along with it. This seemed like a fairly healthy meal. It doesn’t look like much, but it was very tasty.
