Cumin Lime chicken

This was one of the first times I ever tried a recipe using ingredients that I thought would meld well. I made this for a quick lunch, and it was surprisingly not horrible.

1.5 lbs chicken breast
juice of 3 limes
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp chilli powder
a pinch of turmeric
3 cloves of garlic minced
1 inch piece of ginger minced

Mix all the ingredients except for the chicken to make a paste and add salt. Taste the mixture for salt. I really love lime, so if it’s too limey, you can add some water to cut down on the sourness. Marinate the chicken in the paste for about 30 minutes and then shallow fry the chicken in a pan with oil on medium heat. Serve with lime wedges.
